Both Knoxville Wrestling Squads were on the road on Thursday as the boys split a pair of duals at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and the girls lost at Pella. The boys defeated Centerville 48-31. Jessen Ferguson and Tristan Sinnard got pin wins for the Panthers. In match two, Knoxville fell to Chariton 60-21. Sinnard was the only pin winner for Knoxville. The girls took on tough opponents in Pella as they lost to the host Dutch 60-24. Isabelle Sinnard got a pin win for Knoxville. In the next match, the Panthers lost to Dallas-Center-Grimes 59-24. Serenity Turner and Mariah Ripperger nailed down pin wins. Both squads are back on the mats on Saturday as the girls head back to Pella for a meet while the boys travel to the Centerville Invitational.
