Indianola Basketball Hosts Pella Christian in Conference Doubleheader

The Indianola girls and boys basketball teams try to get back on track after a pair of heartbreaking losses to Pella on Tuesday, as they host the other team from the Tulip City tonight the Pella Christian Eagles. The Indians girls have lost six straight games to all ranked opponents in class 4A and 5A, but had a much better performance against the Dutch on Tuesday limiting their turnovers and outrebounding Pella.

The Indians boys fell in overtime to the Dutch on Tuesday and head coach Jeff Ebling said the team played great to come back and force the extra period after trailing by double digits in the second half, and they will continue to try and not put themselves in that situation in the first place.

The games will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 5:45pm, with tipoff at 6pm.
