The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Tuesday, which includes an item on the agenda to give recognition to outgoing Mayor Stephanie Erickson, who announced her resignation last week to serve on the Warren County Board of Supervisors.

The council will also hold a public hearing on the proposed Emerald Bay Urban Renewal Plan, and decide how to move forward with mayoral vacancy, either via appointment or special election.

After the regular meeting, the council will meet in a work session to discuss Vision 2030 and the FY26 budget. The regular session begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
