The PCM girls and boys basketball teams defeated Saydel on the road Friday night in a Heart of Iowa Conference varsity doubleheader.

The #10 Mustang girls picked up a commanding 63-20 win over the Eagles. PCM led the entire contest and saw 11 different girls enter the scoring column. The Mustangs were led in scoring by Tori Lindsay who had 15 points. The PCM girls improve to 13-2 overall and 9-1 in the conference. 

The Mustang boys defeated Saydel in their contest 65-58. The Mustangs found themselves down 44-41 at the end of the third quarter but put up a strong offensive performance in the fourth quarter to outscore the Eagles 24-14 to secure the win. PCM was led in scoring by Kash Fischer who had 18 points off the bench. The Mustang boys improve to 7-7 overall and 6-4 in conference play. The PCM girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action on Tuesday against Perry.
