The Indianola City Council met in regular session Tuesday evening, in addition to a work session. The council approved the Emerald Bay Urban Renewal Plan, and elected to fill the mayoral vacancy via appointment in a 5-1 vote, with councilman Steve Armstrong voting against in favor of a special election.

After the meeting, the council held a work session to discuss Vision 2030, and the FY26 budget.
