Friday night is the annual Panthers vs. Cancer Night at Knoxville which has become a large event for not just Knoxville, but for the area. The girls and boys basketball squads will host Davis County and in between games, there will be an honor ceremony recognizing two people who have battled Cancer. Panther Girls Players Hannah Dunkin and Iselynn Prevo tell KNIA/KRLS Sports this night is very special in many ways.
Hannah: “This night it impacts us all and we’ve had someone close to us go through Cancer and it just puts everything in perspective and there’s a bigger thing than basketball.”
Iselynn: It’s special for all the women out there and just impacts me a lot.”
