The Knoxville High School Choir has received new robes after a fundraising effort last year

The capital campaign for these robes started last May and they were able to raise all of the funds needed in August. This fundraising effort was made possible through the Knoxville Music Boosters fundraising through donations from local businesses and community members, along with a grant from Prairie Meadows. The choir now has 100 brand new color matched, stitched, and sized fitted robes. Knoxville High School Choir Director Ian Heetland said many hands went into this to make it happen.

“This isn’t a two figure ordeal this is definitely a five figure ordeal. We had organizations that really stepped up and said this is what we want to put our money toward. We had parents of current students and parents of past students that came into the school to hand give me checks that said my kids went through this program, this meant a lot to them, and this still means a lot to me and of course I’m going to help fundraise for this.”
