Coach Joel Keady told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team was able to keep their foot on the gas unlike Monday’s matchup with the Mustangs with great defense.

Keady: “We definitely wanted to come into this game wanting to know what they do and we knew they would play some zone. We saw some shots fall and locked in on defense and took care of business.”

Landen Norris scored 17 points, while Koby Higginbotham scored 13 and Lincoln Norris had ten points. The girls are now 4-11 on the season and 4-6 in the South Central Conference while the boys stay perfect at 13-0 and 10-0 in the South Central Conference. Both Panthers come back on Tuesday to host Chariton.
