The Knoxville speech team earned three division one ratings at the district speech competition held over the weekend at South Tama High School.

The team had two short films, one ensemble acting, and one musical theater performance compete at the competition. One short film along with the ensemble acting and musical theater performance earned division one ratings while the other short film earned a division two rating. The three groups that received division one ratings will next compete at the state competition at Cedar Rapids Washington High School on Saturday, February 8th.
