The Melcher-Dallas Girls basketball Squad was knocked off in the Bluegrass Conference Tournament semifinals on Thursday night by Lamoni 54-49. The Saints and Demons played a close game all the way through with neither team getting more than a six point lead all game. Turnovers and giving up too many offensive rebounds was the Saints undoing according to Coach Kelsey Goff. Addi Wadle scored 25 points to lead Melcher-Dallas while Kesley Reed had 15 rebounds and Gabby Overgaard, coming back from injury, grabbed ten. Melcher-Dallas will play Ankeny Christian Saturday at noon in the third place game.
