As part of the Windmill Winterim program at Pella Historical Museums, the non-profit sponsor of Tulip Time will explore the nine-decade history of the festival.
Director Jessi Galligan says they will have a panel discussion about the upcoming 90th anniversary of what started as a small heritage festival with wooden tulips and has now blossomed into a community-wide celebration, welcoming 200,000 people to Pella each year.
The event will be held on Thursday, February 13th at 7 p.m. at Scholte Church, and is free and open to the public.
