The Indianola City Council approved the 2025 brush facility schedule at their meeting Monday, opening the facility on April 3rd, with curbside cleanup the week of April 21st, and no spring appliance drop off at the facility. Interim City Manager Wade Wagoner tells KNIA News fees will also be raised beginning this year, after not having a fee increase since 2015. Wagoner said the city will continue to have the spring curbside cleanup, but the electronics drop off will take place later this fall. A bag/bundle of leaves/grass is now $4, trees/shrubs 7$, a pickup load is $30, and a trailer load is $35. Hear more on today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
