The Pleasantville boys basketball team defeated Woodward Academy on the road Tuesday night as the boys wrestling team went 2-1 at a quad hosted by Newton. 

The Trojan boys basketball team picked up the 71-52 win over Knights after just leading by two points at halftime. Pleasantville was led in scoring by Braylon Bingham who had 29 points and Jaydin Boone who had 21. The Trojans improve to 9-8 overall and will be back in action on Thursday at Albia.

The Trojan boys wrestling team went 2-1 at a quad hosted by Newton Tuesday. Pleasantville beat Saydel 71-12, Des Moines North 61-8 and fell to Newton 45-26. Cael Sorenson, Kurt Kuhnen, Blake Rowson, and Zane Mullenix all went 3-0 on the night. The Trojans finish their regular season with a 23-6 dual record.
