Pella Regional Health Center has received national recognition for its outstanding patient satisfaction, being named among the hospitals that patients are most likely to recommend.

The recognition comes from Becker’s Hospital Review, which in December 2024, compiled a list of hospitals across the nation based on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. Hospitals must have at least 100 completed surveys in a fourth-quarter period to be eligible for a star rating. Pella Regional Health Center is one of fifteen Iowa hospitals to receive a five-star rating, joining a distinguished group of healthcare providers across the state who excel in delivering quality care. Director of the Medical Surgical Unit and ICU Jacie Kramer says that they are grateful that patients have recognized Pella Regional Health Center’s commitment to providing quality and compassionate care.

“It’s really a fulfillment of our mission here at Pella Regional. Our mission here is to provide health care and healing services with Christian compassion, and to see that there is this tangible, measurable outcome that shows that the patients and the families are feeling that mission being lived in our care provided to them is just really fulfilling and really exciting for us.”
