Newton High School’s Jazz Choir will be in Jefferson tonight, performing as part of the Iowa High School Music Association’s State Jazz Choir Festival. Six choirs are scheduled to perform at Greene County High School, but Newton is the only Class 4A school at the site. The Cardinal’s performance is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Ten other Class 4A schools are scheduled to participate in today’s IHSMA State Jazz Choir Festival, which is being held at ten sites across the state. Most of the other Class 4A schools will perform at Dallas Center-Grimes High School.
