The Melcher-Dallas Boys and Girls basketball Squads fell short in their trip to Wells Fargo Arena with the girls game 48-45 and the boys 66-27. Coach Kelsey Goff told KNIA/KRLS Sports it was a rough game but her girls fought hard. Addi Wadle scored 15 points while Ashlyn Metz had ten. Kianna Jackson pulled down 11 rebounds. The boys played well in the first half according to Coach Matt Bennett but went cold shooting in the 2nd half. The girls will now take on Southeast Warren Thursday in the first round of the class 1A regional. The boys start their postseason journey on Friday in an opening round game at Colfax-Mingo.
