The Pella Opera House will host the Dove Award-winning band The Sound for their first concert of 2025 on Saturday, March 8th.
The Sound is a country-pop band that is made up of the father and son trio of Levi, Jacob, and Rob Mills. Since the band was formed in 2019, they have had four consecutive chart-topping songs and five Dove Award nominations. Their latest album, God Is Real, was released in 2022 and won a Dove Award for Country Album of the Year. Cost for tickets to the concert are between $35-$50 per person, but Pella Opera House Executive Director Cyndi Atkins says groups wanting to attend can purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
“Groups of ten or more buying tickets at the same time, actually can get a ten percent discount on ticket prices. So, this is an opportunity to come and get some great music and bring a group and get a discount as well. So, we hope that we see a lot of people enjoying that on March 8th.”
