
The Norwalk basketball teams will look to finish off Little Hawkeye Conference play on a winning note tonight when they host Oskaloosa for a girl-boy doubleheader at 6:00 p.m. The Norwalk girls bowlers are also in action, heading to Oskaloosa for the Two Rivers Conference Tournament.
It’s Senior Night for the Warrior basketball squads as a combined 13 senior players will be recognized along with their parents inside the NPECC. Both games can be streamed live on kniakrls.com (KNIA3), starting with pregame coverage at approximately 5:45.
The Class 4A fifth-ranked Norwalk girls can clinch at least a share of the LHC title. They enter the regular season finale at 19-1 overall and 10-1 in the conference, tied with Dallas Center-Grimes for first place. The Warriors overcame a slow start to defeat Oskaloosa 66-32 on January 17.
The Norwalk boys improved to 9-9 overall and 7-4 in conference play following Tuesday’s 15-point win over Newton. The Warriors, who held on for a 57-50 win at Oskaloosa the first time around, have two regular season games remaining after tonight.
