The PCM Dance Team participated in the Dance Team Union Nationals in Orlando, Florida this past weekend. The dancers raised money to make the trip for the competition that took place Friday through Sunday at the Orange County Convention Center. The PCM dancers were entered in three separate routines. Their Spirit Game Day routine placed 8th Friday night with a score of 56.86. The winning score in that routine was 62.92. The PCM Dancers also competed in the Pom routine Saturday morning and Hip Hop routine Saturday night, with both advancing to the Dance Team Union Nationals semi-finals Sunday, but failed to make the finals. PCM’s POM score was 82.30 while the last finalist had a score of 83.50. In Hip Hop, PCM’s score was 80.30, compared to the 86.30 points earned by the last qualifying finalist.
