PCM Head Boys Basketball Coach Tony Ford has received the Rising Coach of the Year award from the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.

This is a new award that was introduced by the IBCA in conjunction with the mentor program. The IBCA recognizes coaches who demonstrate exceptional game knowledge, uphold the highest standards of conduct, and build meaningful relationships with players, parents, and fellow coaches. In the acceptance letter sent to Ford it states that this award is a testament to Ford’s hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Ford will be honored on Friday, March 14th during halftime of the 7:00 pm 1A Championship game. 

Ford is in his second year as head coach for the Mustangs.
