Pella Regional Health Center has welcomed Ellen Starkey to the Pella Regional Medical Clinic in Ottumwa as a family nurse practitioner. 

With over 12 years in healthcare, Starkey has managed many patient needs from acute conditions to chronic disease management and preventive care. She spent the last 6 years as a cardiology nurse practitioner and has extensive experience in emergency room, inpatient, and surgical nursing, providing life-saving treatments and compassionate service. Starkey has experience in diagnostic testing, medication management, and creating personalized treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients. She is also certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. A graduate of Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Starkey earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing.
