The Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation has awarded $1.9 million to Knoxville High School graduates.

The foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 school year and they are due March 1st. Members of the Knoxville High School graduating classes of 2022, 2023 and 2024 are also eligible for these scholarships. Students can apply by going to the foundation’s website at kpsfoundation.org and clicking on the Applications tab. The Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships to every Knoxville High School graduate who applies for up to four years of post-secondary education.

Financial aid is provided for students attending trade school, working on apprenticeships or associates degrees and for students pursuing a four-year course of study at a college or university. The Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation is entering its 22nd year and Board President Curt Froyen says this foundation is a testament to the generosity in Knoxville.

“One of the things that is really nice about this is we have so many of our former scholarship recipients who are now coming back to Knoxville, buying homes here, working here in Knoxville, establishing families as their children are going to school in our district. One of the reasons is because they love this community and they are thankful for the fact that strangers, people they don’t even know, were able to help them fund their way through college simply because they were a Knoxville High School graduate.”
