A fundraiser for the Newton Public Library that began two months ago, culminates with a silent auction tonight. Tiny 4” by 4” painted canvas artwork from people around the Newton area will be auctioned off from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the library. The tiny paintings are displayed on tables at the library.

Anyone who was interested in providing a painting for the Newton Public Library Fundraiser was able to pick up the 4″x4″ canvas at the library as early as December 16th. The tiny paintings were due back at the Library by February 3rd. All proceeds from tonight’s silent auction go towards supporting library projects and programs for all ages.
