The KNIA/KRLS Home Shopping Extravaganza returns Tuesday for the first of a three-day run.
Participants can call the studios and purchase items from local businesses and those around the Midwest at discounted prices, including gift certificates at restaurants and retailers, car services, hotel stays, entertainment, and more. Hours for the KNIA/KRLS Home Shopping Extravaganza will be from 10 a.m. until noon and 1 to 5 pm Tuesday through Thursday. Prior to the three-day event, there will be a presale today from 8-11 am and on Monday from 1:30-5 pm, and KNIA/KRLS General Manager Trevor Castle says it is a great way for listeners to ensure they get what they are looking for.
“The discounts for the presale are less. They’ll be either 10%, 20% or 30%, depending on the item that you’re looking for, but you get first crack at it. And the reason that’s important is, there are many, many items on the Home Shopping Extravaganza that are one of a kind or two of a kind. There are some things that we might have thirty, forty, fifty of or a hundred of, but again, some things that we have one or two of, and so if you really want those things you might want to get it at 20% off rather than not be able to get it at all. So that’s the benefit of the presale is that it gives you a chance to lock it in, you’ve got it, you’re saving money on it anyway and it’s yours.”
