
Wrapping up the 2024-2025 season Friday, the Pella Christian boys bowling team took tenth place with a score of 2251 at the Two Rivers Bowling Conference Meet in Oskaloosa. Eagles head coach Rod Blunck said he was thrilled with his squad’s effort in the meet, which produced their third highest score in conference action this season. The P.C. boys were led in the meet by the duo of Alex Van Gorp and Evan DeJong. Van Gorp was the top finisher placing 38th with a score of 548, followed by DeJong in 42nd at 523. Rounding out the Pella Christian lineup in the meet was Ethan Klaasen in 53rd with a 471, Logan Nunnikhoven in 55th with a 429, and Nathan Brouwer in 57th with a 406. The Eagles finish the season with a 1-10 overall record and will graduate 10 seniors from the program.
