The Knoxville City Council will continue their annual budget presentations Monday.
The council will receive presentations from the library and police departments, which will break down the annual fiscal year budget for each department, provide the council and public with information regarding spending, and if there are any changes coming or big projects on the horizon that will be funded. Also at the meeting, the council will consider approval of a designation of Brick and Gentry as the new City Attorney, an agreement between Snyder and Associates and the Knoxville Water Reclamation Department for additional services, and a site plan for a new senior living facility in the Veterans District.
Monday’s Knoxville City Council meeting will start at 5:30 pm at city hall. This is a change from the normal 6:15 start time due to the Knoxville High School substate final basketball game.
