PCM girls basketball coach Samantha Allison-Rodriguez has been named Southwest Iowa Coach of the Year by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

This past season Allison-Rodriguez led the Mustangs to a 21-4 season after falling just short of a trip to the state tournament when they fell to Williamsburg in a regional final. Allison-Rodriguez just finished her fourth season as head coach and has turned PCM girls basketball into a successful program which has made drastic strides over the last few years. In her first season the Mustangs won only six games and over the last two seasons they have won 15 games and now 21 games this year. The Mustangs will bring back a majority of team for the 2025-2026 season.
