Melcher-Dallas Schools has announced the formation of an athletic hall of fame. The hall of fame will recognize and honor former athletes, coaches, players, teams, administrators and patrons for excellence in Melcher-Dallas Athletics. The district has established a nomination criteria for each category or nominees. A player must be a graduate of Melcher-Dallas and be out of high school for at least four years and have received all-conference and/or state recognition. Coach and administrator nominees must have been in their respective roles at Melcher-Dallas for at least ten years and can only be submitted if they have left their positions. An Athletic Hall of Fame committee has been formed and further details will be announced soon regarding the nomination process. The inaugural class will be inducted in a ceremony in January at a home basketball game.
