Knoxville’s Hannah Dunkin is taking her talents to the next level as she signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday to continue her basketball career at Central College. Dunkin, who led the Panthers this past season in nearly every statistical category and finished in the top ten in nine career stats decided to pursue basketball and not want to pass up the chance to play in college.

Dunkin: “At first I didn’t know if I wanteds to play sports and then I wanted to play basketball and be around a group of girls that share my interests and the great thing is Central has a JV team so if I don’t get on varsity I can still play.”

Dunkin had a stellar season for the Panthers, joining the 1,000 career point club, and setting the record for the most points in a game with 40 on January 17th. Dunkin will finish out her Knoxville athletic career with track and field and this summer playing softball.
