Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS News that five Knoxville teens have been charged in in a string of burglaries in Lacona. All five teens are juveniles – one is 15 years old, three are 16, and one is 17. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says that over $16,000 worth of merchandise was stolen during five separate burglaries at Southcentral Cooperative in Lacona. Losada tells KNIA/KRLS News that the main items stolen were alcohol and tobacco. Charges are also pending for two adults in the case. The charges come after a six month joint investigation by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Knoxville Police Department.
