Knoxville children found a great way to beat the heat at the end of last week. About 60 children gathered upstairs at the Knoxville Public Library to watch a performance by ventriloquist Kyle Frank. Frank brought out many of his friends, like Scout the bee, Paco the pig, Tennessee the bloodhound, and others. The show helped teach the children ideas of friendship, fairness, sharing, among other things. The program was part of the Knoxville Public Library Summer Reading Program. The Blank Park Zoo will have a show-and-tell at the Knoxville Public Library Tuesday morning at 11 as part of the same program.
