Now with the regular season completed, the Knoxville Baseball Squad can put the postseason squarely in their cross-hairs. The Panthers while not possessing a sterling record of 13-17 on the season have confidence they can win two games and get to the sub state for the second straight season in Ottumwa. Assistant Coach Drew Leeper says the slate is wiped clean and the guys are looking forward to playing in the postseason. Knoxville lost to Oskaloosa all three times the teams played this season. The district only has one team with an above 500 record and that is Oskaloosa with a 21-17 mark. The other game pits Centerville with a 9-27 record against a 13-26 Fairfield club. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA also streamed live on kniakrls.com starting with the pregame at 4:45.
