An arraignment has been scheduled for Eric Burkland of Pella. Friday morning, a preliminary hearing was held in Marion County Court. Burkland faces five felony charges and one serious misdemeanor in all, including possession of explosives, neglect of a dependent person, reckless use of a firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of methamphetamine. The arraignment is next Friday at 9:30 am.
