Not much went right for Knoxville in its game last night with Norwalk. The Panthers fell 43-0 and generated less than 50 yards total offense due to the fact that Norwalk’s defense was for the fourth straight game played stingy and the Panthers turned the ball over six times. Coach Troy Rider says after last night’s performance, the time has come to go back to the basics. The Panthers actually held the Warrior offense out of the end zone in the first quarter, but Norwalk did get two defensive scores, a safety and a fumble return for a touchdown to make it 9-0. Knoxville drops to 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in district play. The Panthers return to Ken Locke Stadium next week for homecoming and take on Carlisle.
