Strong performances in tournaments this past weekend have landed Central College seniors Sarah Paulson and Chelsea Grieger recognition as Iowa Conference Players of the Week.

Paulson was the individual medalist at the Central Fall Invitational, which the Dutch won by five strokes. It was the first title of the season for the Central women’s golf team.

Grieger, a libero with the Central volleyball team, recorded 100 digs in five matches, as Central went 4-1 last week; and tied her season-best with 27 digs in a win against Benedictine. Grieger is a graduate of Pella High School.

Both Paulson and Grieger had been recognized for the same league honor on September 6th.
