Despite temperatures still reaching into the 70’s, Pella Public Works has been busy preparing for winter. Director Denny Buyert says any major repairs and maintenance necessary on the larger equipment has been completed. He says it only takes a day to hang plows and get the trucks prepped for snow removal. The salt bins are also fully stocked with more than 350 tons.
