Linda Betsinger McCann, author of “Prisoners of War in Iowa” will be at Webb Shadle Memorial Library in Pleasantville Friday April 12th from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Her book details the history of two camps in Algona and Clarinda which housed around 25,000 Italian and Japanese prisoners during the second World War.
