The public is invited to a discussion about the book “Heading Home: My Journey From Little League To Hollywood” by Kent Stock will be Wednesday October 16th at the Pella Public Library at noon. Stock took over Norway’s storied baseball program in 1991 and led it to a state championship in its final season before merging with a larger school. His story also inspired a movie “The Final Season” in 2007. This event is free and open to the public.
