Plan to have lots of fun this summer while you learn about fire and the job of a firefighter with the Indianola Jr. Fire Academy June 6 from 9:00-11:30 am at the Indianola Fire Station at City Hall . Discover how hard it is to escape to safety in the smoke house fire safety trailer. Learn how to douse flames with a fire extinguisher. All students will receive an official IJF Academy T-shirt and a certificate. Cost is $22 for nonresidents and $17.50 for residents.
