There will be a Memorial Day program at the Lucas County Veterans Memorial Park in Chariton on Monday May 27th at 2:00pm. A replica of the USS Iowa bell will be dedicated. The speaker will be Rear Admiral Linnea J Sommer-Weddington with color guard from Des Moines.
