An auction benefit for Skip Jackson will be held Saturday. The benefit will take place at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum on the second floor. Jackson, a popular driver at the Knoxville Raceway, was recently diagnosed with stage three prostate cancer. The live auction will run from 12-3, while the silent auction ends at 2. Mike Roberts, who helped organize the event, says people are welcome to come to the museum before noon Saturday and start bidding on the silent auction items. All proceeds will go to Jackson and his family to help cover expenses. For more on the benefit, tune into Friday’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
